Face the Asean Free Trade , Industry Actors Equity Need Support

The ASEAN Economic Community ( AEC ) by 2015 , small businesses such as small and medium industries ( SMEs ) should be able to prepare themselves to face the competition with similar products from fellow ASEAN countries .
Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( Kadin ) DKI Jakarta , Edi Kutandi said , the SME should be a mainstay industry in the country considering the countless number of creative industries and scattered throughout many parts of Indonesia .
" The target next year , we face the ASEAN Economic Community , a mainstay of our creative industries and the many , " he said at the Ministry of Industry , South Jakarta , Tuesday ( 03/12/2013 ) .
He explained , to face the MEA needs to be prepared by the HPI is not just about the quality of the product but also the human resources ( HR ) from the industry itself .
" Our target further ahead should be more active , not only of products , but also the quality of human resources, especially . How do they prepare themselves in the programs of small and medium industries , " he added .
But admittedly Edi , current HPI is still constrained on capital thereby inhibiting the development of SMEs .
" It's a bit cliché if we speak of capital issues . Jakarta government has started thinking about how to get a coaching SME capital , no guarantor area . We will do the synergy between the Chamber of Commerce with the government , " said Edi .
In addition to constraints on capital , according to Eddie , the perpetrators of these SMEs also experienced constraints on supporting facilities such as places of production so that local governments are also expected to be helpful in this regard .
"Obstacles are also in place , because we have to provide a facility that does not pay them yes , because SMEs do have a very limited capacity , so it needs facilities more powerful , but for the overwhelming support of the government , " he said .
